Fuel/Air Gauge Question

Has anyone else watched thier fuel/air digital gauge? Mine fluxes around 14 while driving, but goes up to 20 while coasting. I was wondering if this is normal. The car runs fine

That would seem normal. Cause its an A/F ratio. So when you cut the fuel supply, the air would show much higher.

Most cars today are designed to run somewhat lean under low/no load situations too for fuel economy reasons.

Sounds normal to me.

I use an app on my phone that connects through the OBD port, my A/F ratio shows the same thing while the engine is decelerating (ratio goes way up). Seems normal to me
