FRPP sport exhaust question

Is this still just a rebadged borla S-type for the 2011/2012s? I am not referring to the GT500 exhaust.

No it's not.
Borla does make them for FRPP, but they are not just re-badged S-Types. They are different internally, I don't know how differently they sound as I haven't heard the FRPP ones in person.

How sure are you on this? Dimensionally they are exactly the same and more importantly they sound exactly the same.

FWIW Borla will never give us a straight answer, but I'm certain that the FRPP Touring mufflers are the Borla Tourings and the FRPP Sports are the Borla S-Types.

100%, in fact David Borla made a post on another forum saying exactly that. Yes they made them, no they aren't the same. That's all he would say on the matter and I don't blame him, I wouldn't talk about company privledged info either. I think it would safe to extrapolate from his post about the S-Types/FRPP Sport's that the FRPP Touring aren't the same as the Borla Touring, either.

My FRPP's are not polished. I think the Borla's are. That's one outside difference. The build and weld quality on the FRPP's are very good. They sound awesome.

I saw that post. He said they are different... how open ended is that? The casing is different (non-polished with Ford Racing stamped on them) and the tips are as well (Ford Racing stamping instead of Borla). I'm certain the inside bits are the same... listen to a Borla Sport AB and a FRPP Sport AB right next to each other... they sound the same!
