wife came home complaining nav wouldn't work, Sirius wouldn't work, FM radio wouldn't work.

troubleshooting easy.
pulled car out of the garage and turned car on.

touch screen works just fine, when i go to nav or Sirius radio i get a Sat antenna error on the lower right corner info box.
she came out, we saw car padding on floor board.
looked up under the passenger dash and you see what i see in the pictures i posted above.

If it is indeed just the Sync box, then that helps control nav and links to radio and sirius as they dont work either.

yes she left dog in the car, she said she locked the car.

as for double tapping the key fob lock to activate the alarm.
not sure if she did or not, but thats not the process laid out in the owners manual.

alarm is supposed to auto turn on when you turn the car off and pull key out.

partial mode (truck, door and hood) are activated when you close the door and use the key in the door to lock the car.

full mode (trunk, doors, hood and motion sensor) come on when you use the fob to lock the car or hit lock on the drivers door just before you close it.

in both cases you have a 20 sec window before alarm becomes full active.

Well, if a dog was in the car then the windows were opened a bit, yes? YES?

That's how they got in, then...

I'm so tired of lazy fat thieves!

Some jerk stole my knockout rosebush! Trimmed it an angle and everything. No
Joke! I've been caring for those roses since last spring. I was furious !

Sorry to high jack thread. I just wasn't raised that way. I may not have a lot but what I have, I earned.

That is not where the sync module is .. the sync module is clipped to the bottom of the passenger airbag.

I have a base radio, so I'm not sure if there was supposed to be anything in that space, but if not the dog maybe could have chewed those wires...

Finally!

And those wires were not chewed. They were cut with wire cutters. There was obviously something there, that is no longer there. that's so random! Maybe it's someone trying to piece together an OEM nav for their base model because they were too cheap to order nav from the factory...

Exactly my thoughts!

Am I taking pics of the passenger or drivers under dash?

Have you tried to reset the nav/sync fuse to rule out that? It's hard to tell that anything is missing.

I would X-ray your dog. The nav unit is located behind the screen interface. THE DOG CHEWED YOUR WIRES!
I would blame your wife.
