they were supposed to ship yesterday but something delayed it again hope that source is reliable.

Well some members like myself are being told by Ford's 800 that their GT's are "released" - so thats a good sign.

Is there any way to avoid the 5 minutes of interrogation you get before they give you any information on that 800 line?

I haven't called yet. Just got my VIN so I thought I might try them sometime in the next few days.

What sort of questions are they asking?

Name and address I think is all they ever ask me, then past that you just need either an order number/dealer ID combo or the straight VIN if you have it. Note that the only queue up the next week of jobs on... Wednesday I think, and it doesn't show up in their database until Thursday or Friday. I think that's also when VINs are assigned.
