Fords 2014 Sales Figures

Does anyone know when Ford will produce the Sales numbers for the 2014 MY?

Will it show the break down of Models and options, Colors ETC?

Usually a few months after production stops. There is a "take rate" listing that shows how many in each color and percentages with each option.

I think I remember reading there is something you can purchase from Ford with that type of info on your car? Is that correct?

No breakdown as of yet, but it is interesting that sales of the Mustang are up (I am guessing incentives).

They never did officially release any 2010 numbers did they? From what I remember sales and/or production was so low that year they just never released anything.

I think a take rate report is what you want.

In addition to the basic build sheet, the deluxe build sheet will include all available production figures. I ordered the basic. $17.00 the Deluxe is $46.00 I'll have it laminated (for the hell of it) and keep it with the window sticker I had similarly laminated.

Well lets see.

For starters if you add all of those vehicles together you get just over 139 thousand vehicles total, not 134 thousand.

Secondly, is this memo actually trying to imply that no V6 Mustangs were sold, because

of course its over 134000, because the same vehicle can be included in several of those categories. Take for example a black gt premium coupe track pack with black recaro seats, it would be included in every one of those individual numbers.

You dont add those numbers up. its saying that out of 134k there was 40k GTs and out of those there were 33k coupes and so on...

Got it but it seems like the math still isn't adding up.

For instance if you have a total of 33K GT coupes but then of that 33K you have 26K that had the Charcoal black interior and 21K that had the GT Premium package and right there you are not only over 33K you are also over the 40K combined GT and convertible number.

Maybe these numbers make sense in some sort of way that I'm not seeing.

Wait I see it. You have numerous coupes that can be counted in more than one category.

That's a really stupid way to track the cars if you ask me. lol

At any rate it does show a roughly 3 to 1 take rate in favor of the V6. That's interesting given that the guys on blue oval news swear up and down the GT is the more popular car but never seem to have the numbers to back it up. lol

The build sheet is different for every car depending on colors and options. This build sheet is for my car. A 2014 Black GT Premium Track Pack with Recaros. Tells me what I wanted to know. 1762 of them in my co!or with my options.
