Looks like ford is starting to update their website for the 2012 Mustang they even made the web page more Mac friendly, no more missing boxes or graphics on a Mac if anyone cares about that. If you want to see what lava red looks like you can configure one now on the website also some parts of the website still say 2011.

Interesting. They changed the 18" polished aluminum wheels for 2012. I couldn't really tell how they looked, based on the 2012 brochure. The updated website shows it much more clearly.

 

Yeah, it sort of looks like a mini, not-quit-as-sexy SVT performance pkg wheel. I need close-ups of the Lava red, though. I wasn't sure about the blaze until I saw all the metallic in-person. I'm hoping for the same reaction with the Lava Red.

The Boss 302 section is messed up, a few of the Laguna Seca and normal Boss 302 parts are switched.

 

Is lava red only available on the gt's and not on the v6's.i ordered a performance white v6 but the salesman was trying to talk me into a lava red which only shows up on the GT'S

They updated the bar on the right to HTML5 which is why it works so much better for Macs now. They did it a couple weeks ago. I jumped for joy because I have difficulty building cars on their site with my MacbookPro

 

The lava red does look good. I still can't believe SG is gone. And $2,500 cash back if you have outside financing? Nice! That's a grand more than I got and I took delivery in January.

 

What is this about the oust side financing? Were did you see this?

 

The $2,500 is for a 2011 car. I just realized that I neglected to put that in my post. My bad.

Still lots of last years mistakes on the 2012 B&P.

Still shows gray for the v6 Performance Package wheels when they are black.

Lava red shows up on the V6 page but looks terrible, surely will look much better in person.

 

I was wondering what was taking so long.

EDIT: I noticed a 'Satin Silver' tape stripe for the V6 Pony package. Anybody remember hearing about this, because I don't.

 

GT500 has a nifty option in the Recaro seats, with the matching stripe color to the over the top stripe, in the seats.

Looks good having the red stripes on the black seats to go with the red OTT stripes on the performance package.

 

The dealer I ordered my v6 through didn't, because it took him some time to figure out why he couldn't order white stripes.
