Ford jack spec

I just bought one from eBay for my 14 GT. I am headed today to Sears to look for some bags for it. Does anybody know how long is it?

Sorry, I'm on vacation and don't have a tape measure...But I gotta ask, why not buy the OEM bolt to secure it and put it in the place made for it?

The Jack I bought from eBay is new in the box. Will it come with that bolt?

Don't think so. Does this link work? It's #10 on the diagram. I bought mine from this seller.

Thanks for the link. I'll get one when I get home. What's all that stuff in the diagram? I hope I don't need those. Also, where does the Jack mount in the trunk?

It depends on what you're trying to do. I'm working on a thread to summarize everything I did, but I have had a little trouble getting confirmation and part numbers on all the parts so the thread isn't finished. But generally, here's what I bought:

- The jack (9)
- The bolt from above to secure the jack (10). The jack is opened until it's a "square" shape, then the bolt goes through the washer welded onto the jack handle.
- The lug wrench (11)
- The "tool roll," expensive for what it is (12). The lug wrench fits into the tool roll, then the tool roll is secured to the J hook on top of the tire.
- The J hook, (13)
- Washer (14)
- Butterfly handle (15)
- Nut (16)

If you have the inflation kit you already have 13-16.

Give me more info and I'll try to give you more info...

Edit: I noticed after assembly that if the fuel adaptor is placed in its spot in the tool roll the floor doesn't sit right...So I think I have the wrong tool roll.

This is what I'm working on. I just got yesterday my spare tire I got from Discount Tire. I also ordered the new jack same night I ordered my spare. I have a Gorilla lug wrench that I will be having in the car. I bought a 13/16 deep socket today. The only thing I am missing is the jack and the jack bolt. My 14 GT is only 5 weeks old and am not comfortable driving it long distance without a full size spare.

Here's how it looks with the jack bolt. I also added the gray carpet I had lying around.
