External Cooling Fan for Parked Mustang

What are everyone's feelings/opinions about placing an external fan in front of the grill to cool down the motor for 30 minutes (or so) after pulling the vehicle into the garage.

The Shelbys seem to generate so much heat after you shut them down, and they stay warm for many hours. It just seems like a good idea to remove some of that stagnant residual heat from the engine compartment.

Good idea, bad idea, make no difference...?

Thanks.

I don't think it matters at all. But if you want your engine to cool faster open the hood.

To really cool you would need to circulate the water, electric water pump and fan set on a timer. I have seen a few setups like this in the pits at the drag strip a few times, cool everything down quicker before the next run, get more runs in at a more consistent temp.
