exhaust identification.

Hello, this is my first post here.
I was just wondering if anyone could tell if the following pictures show an aftermarket exhaust, and if so, can there be a guess of the type. Not sure of its possible, but one thing that stands out is that they are not rolled.

I also included a side picture to see if anyone can give a good estimate of how far the vehicle was lowered. Tire size 275/40zr 19s.

Thanks!

The exhaust appear to be stock. Really hard to determine though in the pics provided. As to lowered, It may be a 1 inch lowering kit.

Interesting. The reason I'm on the fence about the exhaust is because when I looked up photos of stock rear ends they all seem to have rolled edges. These seem to be cut straight, and the diameter looks a little fatter than stock... this picture is an OEM exhaust tip from car&driver for comparison.

Maybe gt500 then?

That's what I was leaning towards. I've been looking at tailpipes all night. Lol
Either way I'm concidering buying it. Its a 2013 premium w/ 3.73 gearing and 9k miles. I just have to see it and drive it. But from all of the pictures I saw its spotless.

It just looks like someone bought it, loved it, spent a bunch if money on upgrades and couldn't afford the payments. According to Carfax it had a lien on it.

Yeah I would say those are GT500 axle-backs. One of the guys I supervise has those and his tips are not rolled. Also I would say lowered 1' front and 1.25 rear b/c that's about how mines sits and I have the same 274/40/19. Looks good tho.

Thank you. That was insightful. I hope you are right. It should be in California by next week from Florida, I can't wait to test drive it. I'll have to crawl under it to see what other things have been done to it.

Looks sharp. DIB looks great when clean!

Is that a CS or is it just the raised spoiler?

Its just the raised spoiler, the prev owner balanced the big spoiler with the stillen style chin spoiler which I wanted to get anyways so it'll save me quite a bit of $ especially when you add the exhaust and springs.

What can I expect for ride quality assuming 1" drop and no other suspension mods? The last few performance cars I've driven for a few months each are Porsche 911 turbo, Tesla roadster, and a few miles on a Tesla S. So that's all I can for comparison value. The Tesla roadster was very stiff.

Here are a few other angles.

I would also say it has the GT500 AB. Look under the car and see if it says "Ford" anywhere on the muffler body. There is a 2013 GT at a local chevy dealer that has those same tips. I looked under the car and it said "Ford" on the muffler body.

Before I bought my car, the dealer that I bought my car from had a used 2013 DIB GT on their used lot that I test drove. I noticed that it had different size tips compared to the new GT's and also had a deeper tone at idle and going down the road. It also said "Ford" on the muffler body. I didn't learn until later that these were the GT500 mufflers. Very nice car by the way.

Thank you. I'll be sure to give an update of how the test drive went.
The price is pretty good $28k that's what they are selling solar milage base models. They must have priced it down due to the mods.

That price does seem pretty good and in line with what similar cars here in MO are selling for.

The car that I mentioned above at the chevy dealer is a 13 GT Premium with only 1,000 miles on it with the GT500 exhaust and they have it listed for $29,990. Another local car is a 13 GT Premium GHIG with the factory side scoops, side window louvers, and black stripe for $31,900. It's completely stock with $6,000 miles on it.

That is a sharp car. Hope you get it.

Guess you don't know if there was a tune or other engine mod? Nice deal though. Live those wheels.

Thanks guys.
The prices have been crazy here, most dealers have been selling 2013s like they were new! Carmax seems to be the only one with fair pricing. Shocking!
Example of the bs, v6 2013 for $34k. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...Index=10&Log=0
They are so on drugs!

Here is one with 18k miles for $31k.
Under the description they talk about it having a transmission as if it was an option, they also list the wrong sized tires...if I was paying that much I'd at least want some accuracy. https://usedcars.truecar.com/car/For...BP8CF4D5271877

Some dealers are being more reasonable, but for $28k I've only been able to find plain Jane base models, so I'm pretty happy w this one.

The GHIG GT that I mentioned above had the original window sticker in it and it was $39,000+ new so they were trying to sell it for over $7,000 off the sticker price. I don't think they will sell it for their asking price even though it's a very nice car in perfect shape as far as I can tell. If I wouldn't lose my *** on my 2014, I would think about trading mine in on it since it's the color I really wanted.

Mustangs don't seem to sell very well around here right now. The dealer that I bought mine from still has a 2014 base model GT just like mine except a different color that they have had since the beginning of this year. Mine was on the lot for 6 months before I bought it. Some of the other dealers still have some of the same mustangs sitting on their lots unsold.

I hope you get that one as it's a nice car at a decent price.

-GT 500 axle backs
-SVE Drift wheels 19x9.5
-Stillen Street Scene Generation 2 front lip

Hard to tell on the drop. Look inside the wheel well and try to see the spring/any logo. This could help narrow it down. Will also be nice to get under it and peek around. I can't imagine that they were running the stock shift bracket, unless they parted it out on trade-in. You could also see if they left the resonators. Panhard bar too, along with additional suspension components.

My bad on posting without reading the thread all the way through.
