Exhaust ideas

I have a new 2011 v6 yes I know:/ but I love it. I wanted to know any ideas on what exhaust might give it a more v8 sound?

It's impossible to make it sound like a V8, you can get exhaust that will make it louder and throatier but not V8 sound.

My personal favorite is the Roush axle-back.

If you look in the V6 mods section there is a thread with some V6 exhaust clips.

You can also go with the Borla ATAK system.

I have some specials on them if you are interested.

Just shoot me a PM with the exhaust you are interested in and your zip code and I'll work you up a deal.

I know it won't sound like a v8 but the deeper an louder is what I'm talking about.

I had a flowmaster 50series deltaflow muffler dual in dual out 2.5" mid mounted right after the x-pipe finished it off with dual 4" magnaflow tips total cost was $190 installed. I think it sounds pretty **** good imo. My buddy that has a 2011 5.0 w/corsas likes it to
Heres a youtube video link to my other 11 3.7 that had a similiar setup except it was a hooker aerochamber muffler mid mounted and dual 4" resonated tips. So imagine something a bit deeper&more aggressive for the current flowmaster setup oh yeah no droning/popping raspy sounds at any rpm and combined with the jlt cai it sounds awesome wide open especially past 3000rpm

I swear I think my '10 V6 with the Magnaflow dual cat-back kit sounds at least as good as the stock '10 V8. I just don't hear the 'V8 rumble' everybody talks about. That said, when the '12s hit the area, I'm gonna go drive one of each. Maybe after listening to this one for awhile I'll be able to tell the difference.

Did you ever jack up the car or get air with the Flowmaster? Just eyeballing it, it looks like the driveshaft might hit it.
