I knew I had a crack at 12.4's after the cai and tune, this only gives me more cofidence. Have you noticed your car downshifts a little harder into first turbo? this seems to be the only gear that does it sometimes.

Not bad for a heavy auto convertible! 60ft needs some work it looks like, but other than that NICE!

It's actually not bad when you consider he's on the all season tires.

But the gain is impressive with that tune and CAI.
With a 175 lbs lighter coupe you could be in the 12.4's @ 114 mph.

Very nice.

Rebecca Starkey (VMP TUning) has been 12.55 @ 112.8 Tune Only at +1681' DA on a car with 200 miles but it had stickies. Given the 1.99-2.03 60's Im not sure they were needed. It has since went 12.44 with some additional tune revisions.

The Livernois car picked up 16 rwhp and 31 rwt between 100-2,000 miles (Break-In Mode hiding in the PCM?).
Their is likely another 2-3 tenths hiding in the density altitude.

Given all that I could see a CAI/Tune Auto running 11.9 before all is said and done.

PS Try to watch the runs instead of Rebecca. She can be.... distracting.

If she'll come to Texas and stay with me she can have my house and my car and whatever else she wants.

A hot woman who is into Mustangs, what more could you want.

I would have to teach her how to run the tree though, two BIG red lights in one night is two too many...

She's married and her husband posted the video (along with some pics) on another forum several weeks ago.
As I'm sure you, the red lights mean nothing unless you are bracket or heads up drag racing for money or prize.

Maybe VMP's auto tune is a little better and the gains with the CAI is minimal with this car.

Too bad she's married, her husband is a lucky man. I'd still rather she be here than there...

If you are going to race at the track you might as well try and do it right and not light the red bulb, all part of the skills of the play.

The point is, the red light means nothing unless you are in an actual competition.

I apologize if it I came off as denigrating your car or your tune. That was not my intent. 12.5 in a Vert is great especially given the time of year. Given Rebecca's weight I suspect the difference is more than 175 lb.

I was trying to lay out my reasoning in why I think a high 11 isnt out of the realm of possibility for a Coupe Auto with CAI/Tune and killer air.

I suspect she was more concerned about testing than the light. I often do the same thing leaving when everything is right whether thats a -0.900 or +1.400 Reaction.

Its slower than her previous supercharged and twin turbo V6 Mustangs but Im sure they will get it up to speed.
