Car was built 5.19.10

with an ETA of May 29th..

i heard about the "chip hold" so i decided to call CS, just to see if anything has changed..

well to my suprise they said my ETA is now the 26th 2 days from now..

any thoughts?

 

I wouldn't put any weight into it. My ETA still says May 6th, even though it's on a train right now in MD.

 

Mine is the 29th and I think that hell will freeze over if it is in this or next week....but maybe Im wrong...lol

 

Mine says this coming Wednesday. Hahaha. As far as I know it hasn't even found its way to the holding lot for cars awaiting transport yet.

 

Did they give you any more information than that? Did they say it was being transported, or is it still on Ramp 51?

 

no additional info.. asked about hold.. "havn't at loading heard of any".. asked in transport or ramps.. she said " i dont know"

time to call the dealer..
see if they know more..

Your car is actually further along than mine. My car hasn't even reached Ramp 51 yet. As of Saturday morning it was "In Production: Produced on 5/19". No status updates past that. As far as I know, it has not even left the factory yet, but it's supposedly done.

 

They're playing some kind of big board game with them. Mine went from Uam38 to Ual12 to Gf02.
It's either some kind of auto chess or a rubics cube thing.


But anyway......does anyone know what these various lots are and what does it mean that your car is in a particular lot, other than it ain't in your garage?

That's the last status update as of Saturday morning, but he said recently on his thread that he was going to give everyone an update tonight. That last part to me looks like an ETA date, so I now join you all in the happy land of pushed back ETAs.

We'll see what his update says! Hopefully my car is by now visiting all of yours at Ramp 51.

 

I thought they stopped even giving out ETA's. I called Customer Service about two weeks ago and was told that the car was in transit and to call my dealer for an ETA. I did and he said they won't know anything until the truck pulls in with the car on it, at which point he'll call me. As others have noted, "in transit" could simply mean it's been moved to a different spot in Parking Lot Purgatory.

 

They told me that 3 weeks ago. I called last week and they changed my ETA from 5/5-5/23.
I think it depends on who you talk to, not that it makes any difference, it's all BS.

well....my ETA was May 30th, I say was beacuse...wait for it.......it...hasn't....even....shipped....yet.... either it gets on a bullet train from flatrock or Fedex flies it here...I am thinking June/July....why did I order one in Jan??

 

My ETA still showed 5/6 in the latest update and it just got delivered yesterday.

well the GT500 came in on 5/21 and sold 5/24

My car? still in never-never land

 

ok.. today is the 26th..

guess what..

NO CAR..

 

Even today my ETA is still 5/6. Still on ramp 51.
