I don't have a way to check or find out, but the part # I've found for the seat track assembly is AR3Z-6361711-A
And after a bit of searching I found it on Amazon for $340 w/free shipping:

UGH! I was secretly hoping you were like 300lbs and that was the cause of failure. I'm 180, I wonder when mine will fail! lol

I personally only adjust my seat with no one in them. It has nothing to do with this issue. I feel most comfortable driving with the seat all the way back and down. So the only time I really move the seat is to clean around them or put one of my kids in the back. If everyone is afraid of the seat gears breaking maybe this practice would help?

My fiancee's '08 Shelby driver's power seat is still working perfectly, she uses it every time she gets into and out of the car.
I wonder if there's an option to put those parts into the newer cars, if they're built better than the new stuff

My parts arrived today. Hoping I have time to put them in soon. The only time the seat gets raised is when my wife drives the car...she's only 130 pounds and I'm only 180, so our weight wasn't the issue. In the 4 years/50K miles I've had the car, she has driven the car maybe 20 times, possibly less.

It is most certainly not a usage/weight issue...although that is everyone's first guess. Many of us rarely use these, and many more of us still are low weight. Heck, my passenger seat has been moved maybe 25 times in the car's 20k miles, and it still broke. It is crap parts, plain and simple.

The Power Seat Parts Kit arrived today from Tasca Ford. The kit number is ER3Z-78617D66-A, it comes with everything to make the repair except for the worm gear. Does anybody have a good part number for the worm gear, it's the second photo in the original post.
