Drive Away Music
Drive Away Music
Okay...so whenever I'm done listening just to the engine and want to cruise with some music after getting my new Mustang, what should be the first song I play?
Depends. What are you getting? If you're getting a GT, turn the radio OFF! Listen to the V8 Symphony being played by the 281 piece band through those two loudspeakers under the rear bumper. Seriously. Don't mess up a great moment with some goofy song.
IMO, just my .02, and all that of course.

Whatever strikes your fancy. I find I have a rather eclectic assortment of desired music ranging from symphonic to hard rock to rap to talk radio. Just depends on my mood, and therefore, your mood will dictate the answer you seek at the time you seek it.
/zen and the art of... er, something. I'm not sure what.

Its funny to me how this thread always gets brought up in some form or another when a new stang is set to debut.
I'll have my radio off the whole ride home, V8 soundtrack will be goood enough

My drive home will be almost 3 hours. Surely I'll want to turn on a song by the 2nd hour of freeway driving. hehe.
Didn't realize these threads were common when a new stang is debuting. Guess I'm not so original.

its all about calm bass and something most people can not pick out.

now proper pulling up music is a different thing all together. you need something fast and fitting to the car you are in at the moment.

In reality, and like so many others have already said, I'd probably just sit back and let the engine to the talking. If that did get old after a couple hours though, I'd probably just plug in the iPod the way I always do and let it play whatever it wants. The whole concept of "drive away" or "pulling up" or "waiting for my food at Burger King" music seems rather silly to me.
That said, I do think that this is perhaps the best morning commute song I've ever heard.
