I ordered 2013 Mustang GT last Saturday 6/16/12 Dealer said Ford accepted on 6/18/12 and said he did not receive a DORA and wont till they make a vin number when Ford accepts is that not the DORA if not how long does it take to receive a DORA from the Dealer

 

doesn't sound right, your VOC is 6/16, when you ordered & the DORA is 6/18, when ford accepted the order.
get VIN when the car is sequenced and shouldn't have anything to do with the DORA, usually on a Thurs, could take up to a month or could be as fast as the same week

edit: all orders & dealers are different though depending on type, location, allocation & several other things that know one really knows..

6/18, when ford accepted the order the Dealer e-mailed me a Dora without the order number on it or any prices when do I find out my order number thank you

 

does it say 2013 dealer order receipt acknowledgment across the top?
should say BEGIN ORD ####

18 sounds a little high, that's probably why, should ask if there're lot of orders in front of yours and if not if they could move it closer to 10

 

I got my Dora sheet as soon as the dealer put in my order. I also got a Dora sheet when I went back after 3 weeks and changed my color. Once there's a vin, there's no changing the order as far as I know. You should have gotten it. Ron

 

did your DORA have any numbers on it like MSRP or X plan
