Does your vehicle have this factory control arm brace?
I bought a Steeda G-Trac control arm brace, and when I went to put it on I found I already had the Ford Racing control arm brace:

I'm just curious to know what vehicles had these, I was under the impression they were not on stock coupes, outside the GT500 and verts. Anyways, I'm glad I have the Steeda bar, the Ford Racing one seemed a bit more flimsy.

I don't know if mine has it, as my car isn't built yet, but I bought a used Steeda off a member on here for $40 so I figured I'd pick it up and see.

Very interesting! My 2011 GT has it, and it looks exactly like the Ford Racing part. I'm the original owner, so it must have come OEM.

Yeah, I lifted it up and was a bit perplexed when I saw it. I wonder if it's part of the V6 performance pack, or the GT track packs/other options.

I think it's standard on GT and part of the V6 Performance Package, although the guy I got it from had a V6 with the PP, so who knows...

I haven't had a chance to really drive it since install. We'll see...considering the Ford brace was already there, I don't expect a huge difference, especially on the street.
The Steeda is significantly stronger, however. I was pushing on the stock bar to get leverage to remove the bolts for the install, and was bending that bar without too much effort. Both the bar and the part of the LCA they were attached to were flexing.

IIRC, that brace became standard on all 2011+ Mustangs. 2005-10 Mustangs didn't get it (other than GT500's). With the big bump in V6/V8 power in 2011, Ford simply made it standard across the board. Same thing with the "Z" brace under the front sway bar.
