Does V6 PP wheels fit on Brembo GT?

Looks like the base 3.31 GT I wanted just got sold over the weekend and the only one close to the config that I wanted is a base + 3.73 BBP.

Oh nooooeeeeees. /s

Will my V6 PP wheels fit on it??

Thanks!

I doubt it. They stock brembo wheels are the only ones that clear the brakes.

I'm not sure why you would want the PP wheels anyways. the brembos look so much better.

probably not. The PP wheels are the same as the GT/CS wheels except for the finish, and they don't clear them sooo....

They will NOT clear. They're the same as the CS wheels and those don't clear the Brembos

I have yet to see anyone actually try the wheel to see if it will clear or if maybe a small spacer would make them clear.

I was thinking of just a 10mm spacer for these wheels since they are 50mm offset.

It's not really the offset that is the problem, it's the space between the flange and the back of the spokes and the shape of the backside of the spokes.

The same except smaller. The PP is an 18" rim and the GT/CS is 19".

you've got the wrong PP..
PP (Performance Pack) has 19's (like the GT/CS)
PP (Pony Pkg) has 18's

Huh? You have a picture? The GT/CS wheels are special to the car, I know it doesn't have GT engraved in the side of the rim

I wax my 17" premium wheels and that seems to work really well. Well I'm hopeful I can run 10mm spacers with these wheels without a problem simply to remove some of that tucked in look.

The secret is............. those were magazine pictures taken by Motortrend or Caranddriver before the 2011's even came out.. lol

But I know what you mean. I got those wheels and they get dirty quick. With 10 spokes it isn't fun to clean. I saw this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jK2LsZJ2brg

It really works. They definitely stay cleaner longer and the grime washes off a lot easier.

OHHH LOL well that explains it .... i was wondering how those rims looked so spotless ....

yeah the rims take longer to clean than the actual entire car.... and they STILL dont look as good ....

i may have to use that protective stuff to help out....

does anyone else have this problem.... i find that when i am driving and the rims get hot .... and you try cleaning it with soap ... the soap actually drys up instantly on the rim leaving a stain... thats what im having a hard time trying to remove at the moment .... these are the nicest looking stock rims in my opinion ... but probably the hardest to maintain and keep clean
