Does anyone have this

I have two option; go the cheap route (see above), or take car to dealer and ge tit painted for $250.

Do you guys think the vinyl will last/not fade? Has anyone done this? If so, is it easy to install?

Thanks guys!

Ummm, no...or you could Plasti-Dip it for $6. That's what I would suggest.

Stand by to be told to Plasti dip. My car is black so I haven't thought much about it. I think I would spend the money and paint them though.

I've heard of fitment issues with this kit. Given that plasti-dip is fully removable and waaay cheaper, seems like that's the no-brainer method to getting this done.

Wow totally forgot about Plasti Dip! My weekend project!!! One thing though....I only saw mat black, not glossy black. Is there glossy black? My rims are glossy black and would look better glossy.

No reason why you couldn't just get some good clear and spray over the plasti-dip.

They make a "glossifier" to spray over the dip to give it a shine.

These look great! I love the Black hood vent louvers. The Decals are pre-cut and fit awesome. The install is also very easy!

Like these guys said, you could also go the cheaper route and just plasti-dip them. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong! Just let us know what you'd like to do and we'll gladly help you out.

So I tried plastidip and I failed miserably! LOL. Too many bubbles and when removing the extra plastidip I tore out the portions I wanted the plastidip to stay. I tried both 5.0 symbols and the hood vents and no luck....I would like to just replace the whole part with pre-painted air vents but all I can find are the carbon black color which I don't want. My last resort is to have it all painted but that's going to cost me $300...Do you guys think I should try this vinyl? and what if I mess up will the vinyl come off without damaging paint?

I think I'm just going to buy the black 5.0 emblems and just replace them with the stock ones.

The vinyl is an easy application and can be removed without damaging the paint.

I say go for it.
