I'm a newb to Mustangs and i've noticed while reading this forum and others, there seems to be a high % of members that track their car. So I was curious how many of you track it.
EDIT: This is also for those who haven't yet received their cars and want to answer on how they plan on using it.
EDIT2: "I would consider 'track' as taking it to a private raceway to race the car. Not on public roads " (Examples: drag racing, autocross, or road racing)

What's the point of having a Pony car if you don't let her into the pastures for exercise!
I know it's not for everyone, but it's why I want this car over some other choices.. My Shelby is good enough to run with the big dogs, but the price won't scare me off the gas pedal...

It would be nice if there were 4 categories. I have had my 90 to the track a total of 2 times in 20 years. I would hardly call that tracking it, but clearly cant say no.

My 2000 GT has spent a lot of it's life on the race track. While I mostly go to open track events, I've been known to hit the drag strip from time to time as well. These cars are really at home on the race track. There are a lot of great organizations out there that offer decent instruction for newbs (NASA being one of them). Here are some gratuitous pictures of me on the racetrack...
