Do you let off the accelerator when racing down the 1/4 mile between shifts?
bummer - seemed to work ok in the GT500. Wonder if its just that brand or all of them? Wonder what the manufacturer says and/or is doing about it? Wonder what error codes?
Misfire codes.
Chuck @ Evo performance says :
If you have an early '11 you shouldn't have an issue. If it's a job 2 (late '11) or a '12, you will need to have adjustments made to the tune to avoid the misfire codes.
I admit I'm a wuss, I lift when I shift.
Need to get past that though since it slows the car down, at the other end of the spectrum (and I got the big clutch bill to prove it), I only depress the clutch pedal just enough to move the shifter without effort between gears.
I had no problem with this on my 07 GT, the car had racked up a fair amount of mileage, but the GT500 is a different beast altogether. When Ford says you should depress the clutch completely, you should depress the clutch completely since the transmission side clutch disc is err... apt ot wear out in say 20,000 miles.

narrow gates...try letting the centering spring take you there then use a more open grip to push into 3rd...open your grip pulling to 4th, too...
I don't shift into 3rd or 4th relying on 'muscle memory'...just can't with this xmission, gotta let that spring do all the positioning for 3 and 4, every time

Definately have to simply counter that spring tension when shifting into or within either of the outside pair of gates (1/2 and 5/6). But their openings are at the outside of the shifters side to side throw, so it's simple. Downshifting from 6-3 when intending to go to 5 could be a bit exciting.
I open my grip, using the heel of my right hand when going into 3, the inside/fingered portion of my opened fist when pulling into 4. Keeps me from inadvertantly putting a side pressure on the shifter and allows the spring to take me there.
Also, my clutch pedal needs to be all the way to the floor w/shifting.
When transmission is cold, 1-2 shift is much easier for me if I let the shifter briefly spring to center or double clutch before pulling back into 2.
I'd wager much that many of our Mustang Brothers and Sisters issues have resulted form not understanding all the above.
Have 10.5K miles on this car since taking delivery 3 months ago and absophkinlutely love it.

I just need to wrap my mind around the fact that the rev limiter will keep me from blowing it to pieces.
