OP...wait until the 2020 refresh. The V8 will be a carry over motor and we will probably be getting a complete redesign since it is the 55th anniversary. I also have a S197 that is paid off and has hella mods. Since the 2018 still does nothing for me even after seeing it at NAIAS in Detroit I am waiting...fingers crossed.
Same way when production of 2013 was ending going into 2014, and we already got first shots/renders of the S550.
At the same time around 2020-2021, the replacements for the Charger and Challenger will be coming out or at least shown. Knowing that they will be running on the new Alfa romeo Gulia platform, and all they need is to make the 6.4 all aluminum, and tweak it to make at least 500HP which I dont see why not, as in current form it puts 485HP. That in my book would be best time to think of trading in, I might consider that option to, I need to know what the Challenger will become when its announced.

Personally I still like the exterior better of the 2014s even to what I've seen of the 2018. I say you outweigh the pros and cons. If you have more pros for the 2018, I say get that sucker!
