Deals on 2010 GTs?

I saw people discussing great deals on 2010 Mustang GTs, so I went to an area Ford dealer and they said $3k off 2010 GT. I think I can get that deal on a 2011 GT. Any dealer offering $8k off 2010 Mustang GTs?

What a joke...Sam price discount is what? a grand give or take a few $$$...I have seen about $6,000 off sticker for an 10...That is what you could expect to see. I do not think you will get much better than that...That is a good discount.

there's 2000 rebate nationwide from what ive seen and profit of about 2-2500 on a GT. Buy it at invoice and you're saving 4500 off of sticker........show me a GT at 6K off anywhere on a car thats not a mis-build.

His web site states "No Dicker Sticker" I would understand that to mean the lowest price possible...

I wouldn't say lowest price possible, as there's always a dealer out there somewhere that will beat our No-Dicker Sticker price if you have the patience to haggle for hours/days. Plus, every dealer has those incredible "loss-leader" ads (i.e. "1 at this price").

Our store simply discounts every single vehicle every day to the lowest price we'll accept and that price is online and on the window of each vehicle. Super easy to get a good/great price anytime.

So, $5K to $6K off MSRP on any of our remaining new 2010 Mustang GT's after our discount, factory rebate, Ford bonus cash, and Ford Credit rebate (requires financing with FMCC). Rebates vary by region, so our rebates in the NW may not apply to residents of other regions of the USA or Canada.

I'm sure discounts will be even higher once 5.0s hits dealers.

I agree, but it doesn't always happen. Sometimes after a given amount of time they will remove the super huge incentives because they feel they have given the dealer enough time to get rid of old stock and if they haven't, its the dealer's fault for not selling it.

Currently in PA, the rebates on 2010s are at $2,000, and I would sell any of the 2010 leftovers I have for invoice less the $2,000. Lucky for us, we only have 1 GT and 2 V6 models. Some places have TONS more in stock and will have to lose BIG on every one to get rid of them.

Mine was $7K off MSRP earlier this month--$4500 dealer discount plus $2500 total in rebates. This was for all GTs in stock at my dealer, not just an "ad car".

I hope those bigger discounts come in the form of bigger rebates from the factory, as we're already $500 to $1000 below the invoice total on all remaining 2010 Mustangs before you deduct the rebates. So, with the NW's $3K in rebates on new '10 GT's, ours are $3500 to $4K below the invoice total. If we have to lose money to clear out the '10's, so should Ford - especially since they knew way before we did that we'd be in this boat with the much better '11's coming.

They haven't had trouble selling them with the current incentives, why would they keep raising it?

just remember....there's an a*s for every seat. We've got tons of 2010 inventory similar to Galpin and we've never "gotten stuck" with a unit we couldnt sell. Ford always has final pays to help move the stragglers. I just dont see the point in being a volume wh*re and not making money for the company and yourself for that matter (you do have a mouth or mouths to feed, correct). If it was your business, you'd have to sell more vehicles than you could ever get from Ford just to be profitable unless you're selling "snake oil" on the back-end which we refuse to do. We're a top 100 dealer and have been for 8 out of the 10 years in business. We're the #1 Raptor dealer nationwide and I think we've sold 16 new Ford GT's last time I counted. We rely on great customer service AND we make good deals that make sense for our customers AND us.
