DarrenGT: my first spring '16 photos
Love the chrome wheels. Looking good Darren!
The money shot. You changed my mind about chrome wheels on an S197 Darren. They really work well on your car. But you still need a boot.

my hood is carbon fiber from BMC Extremes, called the Black Mamba. My wheels are also from BMC, also called Black Mamba wheels. see a theme here ?
When i first got the hood i ran it raw CF but the look did not grow on me. I decided to get it painted deep impact blue to match but the paint shop added 10% clear to the mix so that there would be a slight opaqueness and allow you to see the CF weave under the sun
It is also a functional ram air and vents directly to the CAI. I have had mine tuned, but the JLT CAI uses the stock MAF sensor. My stock hood is resting peacefully in a spare room and has not bubbled (knock on wood)

I said it before and I'll say it again, one of favorites on this site.
Still one of my favorites as well! Honestly, I never cared much for the convertibles until I saw your car. I'm not a usually a fan of polished/chrome wheels either, but I can't imagine anything looking better. You've really pieced everything together so well. It all fits/works perfectly.
