Covercraft sunshade

UPDATED 5/9/12

After 2 weeks, I finally received my Covercraft Sunshades. All I want to know, why did I wait this long to order them. These are by far the best shades I've owned. All these years I was putting up with those stupid ones I got from Autozone or wherever else. These Covercraft ones are sturdy, fold nicely and neatly, and fit perfectly in the dash/windshield with barely any gap. These are a must have for you folks with intense summer sun...

p.s. note that I got it in the new "blue" color to somewhat accent my Kona I also received my Covercraft for my Acura as well. Perfect fit too.

=================================================
Well, I decided to reward myself tonight (again - earlier this week I ordered a new mount for my 9500 escort/invisicord) with some Covercraft sunshades. For those of you that don't know, they're custom fit sunshades that FOLD for storage. I was almost going to get the heatshield brand since they are supposed to have zero gap between the a pillar and shade. However the fact that they roll up instead of roll up would lead me to believe they will start edge curling over, resulting in a less than perfect fit.

Now the waiting process...might take 1 week or 2 to process.

Meantime anyone with Covercraft shades that can speak to it and post pics??!

Can't speak to the Covercraft, but the Autosport Ultraviolet Heat Shield is an awesome shade! They too are custom fit and fold for easy storage. I just ordered mine today (my second purchase for my soon to be delivered GT Premium). I have them for all my vehicles, they are that great. Plus they are on sale for a few more days, here's a link.

I've got a Covercraft UVS100 that I bought for my 2006 and I'm still using for the 2011. It's excellent, very easy to use and covers the entire window. I just prop it up and fold down the visors. It's holding up very well after several years and I can't say that I take great care of it. I just toss it in the back seat when I'm done. I've had it for 4 years now. I will try to get some pics for ya.

Bought a Covercraft Technalon (for hail & ding protection) w/ Ford MoCo logo & it only took about a week from order to delivery but that was w/ 2-day shipping. Love how it folds but havent put it on just yet. Will do so & post a pic in the next day or two.

No shades for me. But I do have the windows tinted at 18% on the front and rear windows and have my windshield tinted at 50%. Seems to keep out the heat pretty well though

Technalon Evolution or something like that. Covercraft has like a half dozen different kinds, indoor & outdoor, the Noah being one of the more popular for outside. I got the Technalon for light hail & ding protection, though Im pretty sure Im doing a car port too this year, till I move & finally get a garage. The Technalon is thicker & bulkier & you only get two color choices but you can get the Ford logo, so I went with that in tan.

Sorry man, I was looking at those too & was jumping around threads & just posted that in the wrong thread. All the screens I find around here are cheesy.

I've found that Wincos window tint does a better job of blocking heat than a windshield screen. 92% Infrared rejection and 99% ultraviolet rejection, it works extremely well, and it has the advantage of being usable while driving as well.

I couldn't imagine going through another Texas summer without it.

No problem at all Thomas. I'm glad tho that yours is lasting a long time. Four years and still going strong?
