CoverCraft Pocket pod trunk lid mounted organizer REVIEW
After a long 2 days of lots of stuff to do, I was able to finally get my pocket pods installed on my new '12.
And I LOVE it.
Here's a few pics, and a short review follows:
REVIEW:
Installation was extremely simple. Pop the old push pin fasteners out, take the old trunk lid cover off, and use the supplied push style fasteners to attach the pocket pod piece. Perfect fit, and no other issues were found when installing.
USE:
Not much in mine so far, except for my maglite and some microfibers. So far though, Its great. Especially in our cars with so little storage. Helps to keep the trunk, glovebox, and center console clutter free, and keeps stuff from rolling around everywhere.
Not a lot else to say about it. Let me know if there's any questions.

I got mine direct from covercraft:

They're $135 shipped, which is a little steep. But the storage space is worth it in my opinion.

Lewis - when the trunk is closed, do the pockets take up much room in the trunk?
What I mean by that is, when the trunk is down, these will obviously "jut inward" and will take some trunk space up.

Looks like a nifty mod, but the price is a little steep for what it is, though.

Velcro seems to REALLY like the trunk floor material, which solves the "everything scattered all over the trunk" or the "box full of stuff banging around the trunk like a ton of bricks when cornering" situation I currently have...

There's no sunglasses holder and the door side pockets are almost useless.
The glove box isn't bad, but it doesn't lock (which is a consideration in a convertible).
That leaves me with just the arm rest console, which is good and does lock.
But once my sunglasses are in there, there isn't a whole lot of room for much else.
This product is definitely on the expensive side, but I think will be a small price to pay for more usable storage.
Good ideas. I'm also thinking a small spray bottle of soapy water to remove bird droppings before they have a chance to ruin the finish.

I can't remember the last time I had a car with less storage.

Sounds like you don't need it, which is great for you. I was just trying to help out members who have issues with not enough storage space.
