Could this be the reason for the delay???

Those of us who have cars ordered and have received multiple ETAs, and are still waiting for our cars, may take solace in the fact that Ford employees are being given full pay if they will "volunteer" to leave their jobs and perform 'green' work for Michigan. This is obviously more important than getting cars to the anxiously awaiting customers (strange thing...I had always thought that "volunteering" meant 'giving' of your services without pay...silly me)....

Read it for yourselves:

Salaried employees are not the ones holding up your car, plus it was ONE day.

Really stretching here guys...

I saw this yesterday in the Free Press.

The key here is this:
"About 600 salaried employees took a day off their regular jobs and participated in Ford Accelerated Action Day. About 20 came to the refuge."

I'm pretty sure that doesn't include the UAW line workers. This would be targeted at the corporate muckety-mucks in Dearborn... and the CS people who used to answer our calls. LOL!

Sure, that could be the reason.

The reason could also be that Ford was creating a Jurassic Park type amusement park, and a T-Rex got loose, eating some of the Mustang building materials during his rampage.

2 of my local dealers said that its not just mustangs that are being held up but all Ford models as well.....

Dont know if there is any truth to that, but i have bought and referred dozens of cars to these GSM's, so i take it more to be true

I was able to pull this screen capture from Ford's surveillance system. Looks like my theory was correct, a T-Rex was on the loose causing havoc at the plant. The good news is that he has since been quarantined. Thank goodness we finally know the REAL cause for the delay.

Just be glad it's not one of those threads that have like 20 pictures up on a single post, and then the replier quotes it with all the pics just to say "omgz cool photos!"...

Geeze....does no one recognize sarcasm? I'm just pissed that Ford is trying to be politically correct and impress the public, but not give a crap about their paying customers...who are sitting here stewing about where our cars are.

Don't worry, it was only one T-Rex. I'm sure your car is fine.
