How could you let them put that filthy Mopar fender cover on Marilyn??

So, I polish my Borlas pretty regularly with Borla's cleaner and the outside gets spotless but I cannot get the inside edge clean for the life of me. Any tips Burton?

Apparently, not many folks with mustangs with Corsas. Borlas, dime a dozen. Corsas, rare. Slashcut laser etched tips are phenomenal.

Here's a few vids to showcase the exhaust...I really love how versatile they are. Can be driven "lowkey" with a low rumble, to a banshee at WOT.

Enjoy.
Burton, I've never heard the Corsas before, especially in my neck of the woods. Talk about rare, LOL. They are louder than I imagined at WOT, but that's to be expected with a supercharged engine. Overall they have an authoritative and refined exhaust note.

I currently have the GT500 in my two months old 14GT. I am looking for an axle back that is more aggressive sounding. How does this corsa extreme compare against the kooks, Borla in fit, finish, sound. I am going to buy one of these three axle backs.

The fit and finish on my Corsa Extremes is outstanding. I can only compare them to the GT 500's that I had on before these. They are better finished by leaps and bounds.

Since you had a GT500 before as I do, how does the two compare in idle and at 5k rpm?

That's it. I'm done with the GT500s. Going to order the Corsa Extremes when I have a little extra cash to dump on the car . My best friend told me from day one to get them, but I cheaper out on the $300 GT500s lol.

I suspect that there will be some good used GT500 mufflers coming to the market soon.

The Corsa Extreme is somewhat louder at idle. I can't say how much louder they are at a sustained 5,000 rpm. What would say is that at 1/2 -3/4 throttle they are quite a bit louder than the GT 500 mufflers. At full throttle there is no comparison, they scream. Keep in mind, I have a convertible, so it will be louder than the coupe. I haven't driven it with the top up, so I can't comment on that. All of this is a subjective opinion. Not knowing what your desired result might be, I would also throw the Corsa Sports into the discussion. Not quite as "extreme" but I'm sure you will find them quite a few notches above the GT 500's all the way through the rpm range. Perhaps there is another member here that can comment on the Sports. Hope that helps.

Different car, but I have Corsa Sports on my 06 GT. They weren't quite loud enough so I added a catted x and now they sound vicious. Only negative is that cold starts are obnoxious.

I am very tempted to get a Corsa extreme right now. But I just bought my HRE wheels to weeks ago. No play money right now. Maybe in a couple of months.

Kyle… maybe that's why the numbers didn't turn out right??? lol.

As for cleaning the inside edge, get an old spong/rag and wash it good. Then apply your fine metal polish inside as well. That was the problem with the Borlas..they were "double wall", but not really? The inside surface was not fine grade stainless. When I had my Borlas, that too was annoying. Just use some elbow grease on there

They are authoritative indeed. You should have seen me at the dyno today. People craned their necks from across the lot because they wanted to know what/who's car that was

GT500 is a 2/10.
Borlas were a 7 or 8/10
Corsas are a 9/10.

As far as fit and finish, the Corsas are top of the line. Did you read my thread on my Borlas? I was a Borla fanatic before…and then "something" happened. Loooooong story. Do a search for "Borla" threads started by me. You'll see.

LOUD. Corsas will blow the GT500 clear back to Ford Racing. lol...

I sold mine within a few months of owning them. The GT500s were great, but WAY too tame.

If you heard my set up, your knees would buckle. LOL.

Seriously, though, Corsas sound fantastic. I had the GT500's, and Borlas before. The Corsas are a different animal. I'll have a dyno video here shortly…you'll see.

Here's the vids from the dyno. Rest of the info is in "My Latest……" thread.

Enjoy.

Here's the vids. 1st one is his ONLY "setup run". Notice how quick it is. He knew what he was doing. No wasting time getting heat soaked. We ran right after.

And here's the vid of the 1st pull. The 2nd pull I didn't get a good video of Either way, the Corsas are on full blare…

HAHAHA.... so much for a "couple of months" eh?

What happened? Funds became available or did the thirst for the Ultimate Exhaust overcome you?

Seriously though, congrats buddy. You got Extremes on the way? You won't be disappointed. Pics and videos of install and write up please.

I can't eat. I can't sleep. My life has become miserable. Got to have a Corsa under my car.

Just waiting for a possible Labor Day discount.

Don't know about videos, but definitely pics.

Make sure you shop prices. There is quite a spread in price from the different dealers.

Brake fluid. It will break up the carbon deposits left on the inside.

Lol. What made you decide to ditch the gt500s and go with the corsas? You already ordered them?

Agree. I never pay retail.

Good idea!!! I need to remember to do this. Still safe on the stainless steel/chrome tip's exterior?
