Converted Rear End Man

After all the the crap i gave about the '10 rear end i have ordered a Red Candy '11 GT. You guys were right all the time. The new body style just makes the 05-09 look so out dated and bland. Long live the Euro *** end!

This is great. I like the newer style better also (more cabin and trunk space though still can only fit kids in the backseat) and have one on order. Have fun!

Like the Great Eights told me:

"DarkCandy08GT: I loved the 2000 Cobra R even though I didn't care for its looks.

I feel the same about the 2011 Mustang GT: She ain't as luscious as her older sister, but she puts out long and hard in all her openings so I choose to be beneficent. I am such a great guy!

****, I love me! Oh, and the quadcam Ti-VCT 5.0L V8!"

Sorry, but the '05-'09s will never look outdated. It's a timeless design.

Anyways, Congrats on ordering the 5.0!!

Good choice! IMO the '10+ looks better from every angle except the back. Everything from the back glass forward just looks evil

I'm not sure what you were trying to say, but I have to say that Camaro realy is quite sharp . . . even from the back!

Some people don't like the black plastic on the bottom of the rear bumper -- both the Camaro and Mustang have it. No different than how I used to rant about the black plastic rear view mirrors on the '05-'09, I guess.

(But I love both S197 styles.)

Eh, the rear end isn't that bad. You're right, DarkCandy, though, that you won't think about it at all when you're piloting your 412 horsepower TiVCT 5.0L 2011 Mustang GT!

Yeah, I've always felt the complaints over the rearend were overblown. Does it look great? No, but it isn't as bad or as big a deal as people make it out to be. For me, it's no better or worse than the old '05-'09 rear (which I thought was bland and boxy), only different. I do think the tweaked rear of the 5.0 looks better than that of the '10.

I like the 05-09's. But I think the 10+ are perhaps my favorite styling ever, matched only by the 69 fast backs.
