condensation in my dash

Hey guys. So about a week or so ago we had some really bad rain here and I got stuck trying to get outside of my neighborhood and had to drive through flooding that went almost up to my head lights. That was then and I've since cleaned everything and my car is fine.

One problem remains though. I ended up getting what looks like condensation in my gauges. Is there a way I can fix this without having to take my dash apart?

Ugh glad you're alright and the car survived, but I think you're going to have to tear the dash up. I just hope you don't find anything else bad once you get in there!

Can you try a hair drier and evaporate it out?

Park the car in the sun with the windows down for a couple of days and the condensation should go away.

Hairdryer. I used to have to do this on my old motorcycle lens.

Your carpets must have gotten wet, especially the driver's side, and that moisture has risen up to your dash area. I suggest checking for wetness under your carpeting and trying to dry it out, possibly by just keeping the windows cracked open when possible. You can easily pull off that bezel in front of your gauges just using your hands without any tools, then you can just wipe it dry. It just snaps into place. It may be easier if you first adjust your steering column lower. Good luck!
