That looks like the lookout point on the way up to Aspen. I was just there over the weekend. Unfortunately didn't have my mustang since I was there for work so I had a KIA rental. Bright side is hat work paid for the hotel, gas, and food

How bad is the front range? And do they block you from going as far north as Grand Lake from Idaho Springs?
I live in Texas but have a lot of aunts and uncles in the Loveland and Ft Collins area. Colorado is like a home away from home for me. Was actually considering buying a cabin in the front range somewhere between Boulder and Estes Park.
It's not easy getting a deer and a mustang in the same shot...

That is Emerald Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park.
I guess since we're talking about Colorado road trips, I should show a Colorado road. This is the drive through Big Thompson Canyon starting right at the edge of Estes Park and running to the end of the canyon. Sadly, this entire canyon was virtually destroyed less than a month later.
I need to get off my lazy backside and put together the videos of Clear Creek Canyon, Trail Ridge Road, and Old Fall River Road.
Did get my video of being caught in an August blizzard on Mount Evans though.
