Sterling does look better, IMO, with the black body trim than any body color besides Black and would have been my first choice due to ease of maintenance if I wanted Charcoal leather. I had Charcoal leather on my last two GTs and wanted a change. I just wasn't sure the Sterling/Saddle combo would look good (there were none in stock in my region to check out and I found no pics online, either) and I don't care for the Stone leather--too light for my tastes. Just my $.02.

Yes, Black does hide the body lines and is hard to keep clean but does make all the black plastic trim blend in better than other colors. And Black really seems to make Saddle leather "pop".

My rule has been "it has to be a color". Sat at an intersection one morning and looked at all the cars pass by. The majority were black, silver, and gray with "other" being the easy minority. It's kinda of drab when you start to notice the majority of cars are the same handful of colors. :-/
Looking like kona blue FTW!

Speaking of color combos, I found out that Stone interior is currently not available on a 2011 Kona GT Premium. It's supposed to be, according to the order guide, but at present cannot be actually ordered that way. And no, it's not because of the glass top; I'm talking even without the glass top.

I'm just waiting still. I wasn't a silver man, but Ingot has me really liking that color now. If I do order an '11, I'm torn between Ingot/Saddle, Sterling/Saddle, Kona/Saddle or ordering the car in Black/Saddle and having it painted either Ford's Tricoat Pearl White, Black Slate, or Tuxedo Black before delivery. Yeah that's a lot of choices. .

Personally, I don't like the Red stripes on a Grabber Blue Shelby, I think this combo clashes more than the Saddle Interior would with Grabber Blue.

I feel your pain. I can't get Red Candy with the Red Brick interior. I had to settle for Race Red and perhaps get it painted.
