Clunky, 1-2 hard shift update.
Take it for what it's worth, but at least it seems Ford is hard at work trying to find a fix for those ( including myself) experiencing the 1-2, 2-3 hard shifts, at least according to Deysha from Ford customer service.
Here is a quote from Deysha from AFM forums.
Hello members,
This is Deysha with Ford Customer Service. Ford is working on a fix for this transmission concern and we should hear something soon. However, I still recommend having the vehicle fully diagnosed for all concerns noticed. Also, you can send me your mileage, VIN, dealer and contact info to see how I can help. And again, thank you guys for your support!

I'll believe it when I see it. Best bet is to just get on record with your dealer that you are having an issue.
I'm dissapointed at how long Ford is taking on resolving this issue. I would have thought something would have been done prior to the start of the MY2012 production.

Yeah, I dropped off my ride for check engine light (bad O2 sensor) and I also told them about the rough shifting. I just wanted to get in the books in case **** hits the fan.
It sucks, and I had my transmission changed in October 2010. Brand new. Still rough shifting. So it's something Ford didn't do right.

Hi all!
New member here. The issue on this thread is why i joined. I have a 2011 Mustang GT. It has less than 400 miles and I noticed the last couple of days the shifting seemed sticky. It seemed much smoother at first? The last couple of days here (Middle TN) have been rather cool. It seems most of these issues are in cold weather? Does it seem better in warm weather? Is there a dealer fix for this? As a side note I read in another thread about the scratched stereo face. This was a major let down! Mine looks crap already! WTH?? Its a brand new car!!!
