Its a very tough job in the beginning without return customers and their friends and relatives. Just remember to treat everyone the best you possibly can. Every person you fail to impress is a dozen less future sales. In the beginning its really just about outworking everyone else.

Hey Chris, its Jeff. Good luck to you on your new job. I remember VERY VIVIDLY my first day back in 1997. I was 20 years old and it was a learning experience. It may start out slow, but hang it there and just do everything by the book (don't cut corners or take on the bad habits of the seasoned workers there) and you'll do fine. Thanks Jeff! I can see it can take time, most of the guys here have been here 15-20 even a couple guys that have been here 40-50 years. They seem to have a pretty solid customer base already and people walk in asking for them.
