Changes to 2014 computer ?

Hey there i was just wondering if they made any big changes to the way code readers scan for a.b.s. codes and such, i have a 2014 GT/CS that i have been having some issues with Advancetrac. Everywhere i have gone they all either try and read the computer and cant get a thing out of the abs codes, or their obd2 scan tools cant read 2014 vehicles ?? Did something change between 2013-to 2014 ?? I even tried one of the really nice shops that has a nice 6,000 professional scan tool and even he said it wont do 2014 vehicles ?? he tried to fool it into thinking it was a 2013 and kind of got 1 code out of the abs system =, but he wasnt even able to clear it ??

for the 2014.5 there was a new ECU. That is why you can get the Track key that the Boss 302 has for the 2014.5. Not sure what the changes are but Ford Racing could answer your question. If there is no Light on then you will not be able to read a code.

Ohhh okay, And at first the ABS/Traction lights would go on and off randomly in wet conditions, but it has gotten to a point now where the lights are on all the time, and thats when recently i have been trying at multiple places to get the codes pulled/cleared and for some reason no one can do it because its a 2014

I do have a BAMA v2 93 octane race tune on it, But that shouldn't affect someone's ability to check abs codes or clear them right ?

2014.5 has new cluster firmware to support track key not a new ECM.

Have you tried to address this with your local Ford Dealer, ATewes? Your service manager is in the best position to ensure a proper diagnosis, and will be able to provide available options and/or coverage for any work needed.

You can schedule an appointment online here. Let me know the outcome.
