Why does your cowl not smooth/fade into the hood?

The bolt-on version of this hood will not offer any additional weight savings over stock. This hood is also available in a lift-off version for $245 which will offer a considerable weight savings but is for race only vehicles.

We designed the hood with more of a defined cowl edge intentionally.

I guess I should have asked why the defined cowl edge?

Wicked hood, and I'm digging the grill (is the pony optional?). With the GT/CS bumper insert, I think I'll have the look I want...

That's my car, and yes, the pony is removable. One small (I believe 8mm) nut holds it on - can be repositioned to the other side, the middle, or removed completely.

We seem to have the same taste. I've got the GT/CS insert and BOSS splitter sitting in my den waiting to be put on..
