CATS!!

Bastard neighborhood stray cat slid down the hood of my car sometime since I washed it last week. Tried very hard to stop about the last foot. And then tried to grab hold of the bumper on the way down. Really shows up on the black stripe. Cut right through in a couple places.

I really like cats; especially with a little salt & pepper.

I like cats, but that one was stupid.

My cat has on occasion climbed on cars, but never clawed anything. She actually seems to realize that she slides on them and just goes with it. I mean really, it's like three feet of height.

Water with alka seltzer. Cat go boom.

A neighbor's cat did the same thing to mine, although it found sleeping on my hood was better than sliding down. Luckily, my car was going into paint the next week so it wasn't as big of a deal as it could have been.

I can feel you pain... I saw some paw prints on my hood the other morning. But so far no scratches...

How about a deterrant device like this:

Might keep them out of your yard all together!

I could have used that cat this past winter to get rid of the mice!
