In case you ever wanted to see....

a 5.0 with chains! I know, it makes me cringe too. Had no choice when I got snowed in up in Tahoe. My poor girl sees it all. My wife and I spend 48 weeks out of the year working on the road, and we chose this beautiful philly to take us all around the country. Maybe not the best choice for winters...but this is my 5th Mustang, and coming from the Northeast, I've always done ok. Anyway...may none of you ever have to do this to your girl!

You show the one explanation why factory wheels are so tucked-in and the need for all the stock fender gap!

I hope I never have to do the same. But I keep chains in my trunk from October to May every year just in case I get caught out in a big snow. Thankfully, I haven't needed them yet in 14 years!

Ouch! Thats why I've stayed away from Tahoe with my car for the last few months... had it up there last weekend, but it wasn't snowing.

Had it in Vegas the week before that...

Nice ride Hub, are these the 19" SVTPP wheels ! What size tires are you running ! I have yet to take a few photos of my car with these same wheels. I've been lazy lately. Sorry for highjacking.....

Indeed... CJPonyParts put BFG KDW2 275/35/19 and 295/35/19 on these for me. LOVE them!

I've mostly been posting on AFM. Link below has two other links in it. The second link in there has my review of the wheels/tires and all the other stuff I put on it.

There's no way I'd fit chains on these things now...
