Car and Driver comparison: Mustang wins but posts slower times (?)
Imagine that. But they use the 12.5/6 stock SS run as "proof". These folks are a bit sensationalist.

I am not sure where the C5 bashing came from, kind of odd.
Regardless, the magazine is apparently filled with pictures of the cars side-by-side, so I imagine that they tested them together. Anyways, that's why I am interested in further magazine times.

I'm sure the cars were driven together, though I doubt they were "tested" together. 13.2 1/4 time is the exact same time recorded as the previous 'Car and Driver Short Take Road Test' that was performed in March. Therefore, they most likely utilized the times recorded in the cars' previous tests. Car and Driver is notorious for pulling this ****; they did the same thing when comparing the BMW M3 to the Lexus IS-F.

Mustang should be similar, the trap speeds are way to close.
Mid 12's are expected from these cars. If I can do 12.8 with only 106mph, the new 5.0 is capable of solid mid 12's at 110 mph+
