I have a Weathershield HP by Covercraft. Bought it from Autoanything.com, but you can get it many places. It's custom made for your make, year, etc., and is lightweight, breathable, but keeps the elements off spectacularly. If you have a nice coat of wax on your car, it is so easy to put on and take off. Get the optional locking cable and tie-downs in case you're in a windy area.
It's a wise purchase for your Mustang. Here's more info:

So, I'm looking for a cover that MAINLY blocks the UV rays...
I'm soon to be a proud mustang owner and my stang will be sitting in my garage. However, we leave our garage door open for a good portion of the day and the afternoon sun just BEATS down on the front of our house, into the garage. So I guess I'm looking for an indoor/outdoor cover. I'm finding that the NOAH cover might be my best option. The car won't ALWAYS be covered...but it will ALWAYS be a garage queen.
I can get a NOAH cover from Ford for $425 but I think I can find it cheaper. Wondering if that's going to be the best one for me.
Any insight is much appreciated.

Theyre overpriced at the dealers and you cant even get a Ford logo (from Ford, go figure). I got mine for like $175 less and with the logo I wanted. Mine is a heavier duty cover but it folds up nicely right on the car and if you get a bag you can just throw it in your trunk. Very pleased with Covercraft and they have different types, for different uses.

Check out Storm proof from coverking. Great fabric and high uv rejection. Get the discount from auto everything plus free ship. You can even get it with custom colors. Light weight and easy to handle. Make ure you know proper methods for install and removal to prevent paint damage. I have had several covers over my 40 plus years of driving great cars and storm proof is one of the best I have used.

I don’t have a car cover brand recommendation, but back in my Navy days (san diego) parking close to the piers was the norm. Problem was the seagull, pelican and albatross bird poop getting on the paint resulting in acid etching spots. The solution that worked for many of us sailors was applying a paint sealant to act as a barrier. I used the Meguiars #20 which got the job done in between washings. Others used a car cover and a paint sealant for maximum protection. Eventually the car cover will probably need to be cleaned of the bird poop buildup, which is a difficult task at best. I would suggest going with a washable cover.

I know the dealer is expensive, but if you order a boss 302 cover they're pretty nice. They allow no water to go through and cover the car all the way down to the wheels. Also they cover and hug all the corners and bumpers, letting nothing in. They also have the mirrors perfectly aligned along with the antenna hole. Probably the best car cover i have seen. They cost around 400+ dollars though. I say well worth it though as they will last and wont come off in even the worst storm.
Note: You could probably find them on various websites.

I just ordered:
Full Vehicle Cover - Noah Style, For V6 and GT
Part No: AR3Z-19A412-C
I chose the "Noah" style because of what I read from a Mustang Monthly Magazine article. Plus it costs over $100 less than the weather shield style.
Non-woven covers, like those made from the popular Evolution and Noah fabrics from Kimberly-Clark, are made from a polypropylene material and are typically multi-layer. Thanks to the layers, they are stronger and thicker than woven fabrics, but that also gives them an advantage for dent and ding protection

I picked up my car cover from Family Ford in Netcong NJ. Here are a few quick picks.

I think the car cover does its job. The material looks to be a high quality (imo) it also extends under the bumper and almost clears the wheels. Im happy with my purchase and reccommend it to anyone who is in the market for a car cover

get ready for swirl city if you've driven any distance to get to the yard, covering an even remotely dirty car at an exposed place like a shipyard turns the cover into sandpaper.
I went with a high quality paint sealant on mine and it worked great. Frequent treatments with Iron-X to remove shipyard deposites (the mess from hot work can really travel) was a must.
I think a car cover method could be done successfully at a shipyard, but you have to rig it as if she was going to sea. It will need extra grommets and some form of chafe-proof lashing that won't mar your paint (I suggest a synthetic line like they're using for standing rigging on yachts now), elastics aren't gonna do $h!t on the docks. Also, when the blow comes in its going to make that cover flap on the surface of the car so get it tight and get the car very clean before covering it.
I just started flying, the shipyard and 500mi drive in was destroying my vehicle. Not to mention that our yard was flooded in hurricane Sandy and I would've lost it anyway.
