This can't be right
I just got back from my dealer, I got my first free LOF. I saw my saleman who told me that Ford just cut off orders on 2011 Mustangs. Could this be so. It isn't even 2011 yet. He said he was shocked, and I can believe it.

The Shelby is capped. That's what he's thinking.
Although, for CAFE reasons (), there is a percentage cap on 5.0s/V6s at about 30%/70%, if I remember right, could be off a little. SO if there's a shortage of 5.0s, you'll just have to buy a couple of v6s to compensate. Sort like unlocking something cool in a video game.
Hey, three cars like that? Get a vert, a dd coupe, and the 5.0 to have extreme fun with.
So technically, he's right, but not exactly.

yes, very annoying . . . . like how do you respond when the second thing out of their mouth (right after "hello, my name is . . . ") is either ignorance or an intentional lie? Do you say "What you just told me is incorrect. Are you ignorant or intentionally lying?" It kind of throws off the whole flow of the conversation, makes it very uncomfortable and unproductive . . .

Typical.
He heard the GT500 was capped and assumed it was all Mustangs.
Conversation he heard probably went like this:
"Wow, the sales manager tried to order my customer a 2011 Mustang and the computer told him they were all finished taking orders."
He never asked which Mustang was ordered (GT500).

Allocation has been non-existent for the past month, and we just got 4 '11 Mustangs allocated to us for the next scheduling period, so they're still taking orders, but they've really cut back on the quantities.
