Can't find the grille I want
I have a 2014 GT with fog lights. I want to replace the grille with the EXACT same one but with no pony.Checked every website but no luck. Anyone know of one? Thanks
Exactly what I want too. I just want the Roush bar grilled with the fogs not hidden. I do want my pony though.

I was thinking along similar lines... As mentioned, no one makes the grille without any logo in the center. However, if you swap to the Boss 302 grille the logo is a bit smaller. Costs about $180 for the grille and emblem, and takes no time to install.

Where can a BOSS grille be picked up for $180?
Here's the link. The grille is $101, and the emblem is $81. There are two "locking washers" that are also on the site, but they are not necessary (the emblem has an adhesive backing). There are a ton of grille options out there, but at $182 I think this one is a.) relatively inexpensive, and b.) a nice "modified, but still 'stock'" option.

As far as installation, at least in my case it was not necessary to remove the bumper (if you are replacing/modifying the lower grille, the bumper needs to come off- but the upper grille pulls right out). All you have to do is grasp the honeycomb on the original grille and give it a good, firm tug. The grille will disengage from its surround (some of the clips on the top will "hang up" a bit)- but keep tugging and it will come clean away.
Then compare your new Boss grille (from the link) to the original grille. You'll notice the area of the grille around the driving lights has a bit of a "lip" on the Boss grille- this is to retain the block off panels used on the Boss (which, of course, does not have the lights in the grille). Take a Dremel with a cutting disc and cut this lip away (takes 15min). Then just adhere the emblem to the grille, and it all pushes right in.

Thank you very much...I currently have an MCA grille but the BOSS grille..appeals more to me and I think I'll swap it. I've already ordered halo lights and a lower GT grille. I still have my v6 grill, I'm guessing the chrome surround isn't going to fit the 302 grille right?
Thanks
Thanks
Lookee what I stumbled upon...GT grille w/fog lamps, no runing pony....black or polished billet.

That's interesting (kinda like the black one). Too bad there isn't one that just has the honeycomb the whole way across with no logo (that way, you wouldn't have to change out the bottom grille to match).
The more I live with it, the more I like the Boss grille. The tri-bar has always been one of my favorite Mustang logos.

I like the original pony- it matches the pony on my '65. I guess its just the desire to have something a bit different.
The tri-bar emblem has a smaller pony and is just a bit different from the regular GT- so it fills the bill quite nicely (especially since it is an original Ford option... found on a low-production version of the Mustang).
The totally emblem-less grille looks cool just because its a bit different from the average GT. However, now that I have it installed, I think I really like the Boss grille. Its just a little cleaner looking to me (just a purely subjective observation).

Same here. I used to build tons of model cars as a kid and into my teens. I could never build one straight out of the box....always had to change something...wheels, tires, engine parts, whatever.
My Mustang is just a really big and expensive model car.
