I only have a couple roof pictures on my phone... And they are far from amazing. These are what I have. Will take some nice ones for you tomorrow.

All this being said, if the glass roof is a deal breaker then it's not really a choice. And that car is closer. Go get it.
I agree and disagree. SGM always looks good in person, though I can't speak for how it looks with winter salt. It is gorgeous when shined up, and sinister on a cloudy dark day. I don't think it ever really looks dirty. I also have a Yellow Blaze Boss. Love both colors... a lot. You def'ly grab more attention in a bright color. However, my dream car would be the Boss in SGM. The blackish glass roof will look awesome on that car - all black accents do. And, if you plan to mod, you can contrast with bright / silver, or black / smoke. When I decided to get a Boss, I picked my favorite color of the limited ones avail in 2012. Plus, it's a classic Boss color. However, SGM on the Mustang is a truely great combo IMHO. While I really like GHIG, I think it's a love or hate color. You may need some thick skin for that one.

Here's a link to some photos of my Ruby Red with a glass roof. There's one or two good shots from the inside.

FYI, there is a screen inside to keep the sun out. The glass is UV and IR reflectant (IR means it won't cook you in your car - keeps the heat out). Best feature ever.

For your color choice - GHIG and SGM are opposites on the spectrum. With GHIG, I think it is cool now, but you have to ask yourself - will it still be cool looking to me in 5 years? For some of us the answer is a resounding YES, for others its a no. For SGM, it's a more subdued, but classic color that never goes out of style. But it doesn't have that POP that GHIG does!

In other words, TOUGH CHOICE!

When I was first looking at Mustangs I wanted the GHIG because I like unusual colors on cars and all of the rest looked too common. Unfortunately I could not find any GHIG Mustang GT's local other than a convertible which I did not want.

I decided to look closer at some of the other colors and the SGM really caught my eye and is what I ended up getting. In the sun with the car waxed, the color is amazing. It has a lot of metallic and really catches the eye. I have had a lot of compliments on mine.
GHIG also looks great so it would be a hard decision for me. Each car has a unique thing about it. The GHIG is not a common color and will probably be quite rare in the future. The same with the glass roof on the SGM car. Not many cars have this option.

I think you have to decide which is more important to you. the color or the glass roof. I think the SGM car has the slight edge because it's a year newer and has the more unusual option in the glass roof.

I don't think you can go wrong with whatever choice you decide. Good luck.

GHIG is a beautiful color unfortunately it will get on your nerves after a while. The SMG is the best color as it does not show the dirt looks classy all the time and will always be in style. SMG was my first color but I ordered one and got RR instead. For 1K more for the better options and a year newer I would take it. Good Luck

SGM is a classy color in my opinion. Maybe a little more difficult to keep clean than GHIG but otherwise a very suitable color to live with as a daily driver. GHIG on the other hand begs for attention. You also will rarely see any of them driving around on the roads. I've had mine for almost two years now and I've spotted maybe 10 or so other GHIG's on the roadways among thousands of Mustangs total. Definitely a rare color. If you want to be unique, go with GHIG. Otherwise, SGM will do you just fine.

I love GHIG, but I'd only get it on a BOSS.
Needs a bit of a contrast in my eyes.

Sterling for me in this choice.

Green only if with good black wheels, plus some nice black stripes to break the color, personally I think the green hides the curves of the car more then other colors.

I love my SGM mustang. When properly taken care of it has amazing depth and has a level of class to it. When the sun hits it, it really sparkles with all of the metallic flakes in it. The GHIG mustang is very nice don't get me wrong but under certain lights it doesn't do it for me...

Plus SGM looks awesome in HDR

Tough call. Green unique but does it get old? Grey kind of common but can be dressed up nicely. I'd take the 2014 with the roof. That glass roof is pretty awesome and if I didn't have a Vert, that was going to be my choice. Also, you have the last year ever of this body style. Even though it's 1000 miles more, I think it's worth more than the $1000 difference. Roof option and 1 year newer make up the difference.
