Brembo wheel repair results?

Hey guys, I did some searching on this and couldn't find any threads to answer my question. I curb rashed one of my Brembo wheels last year towards the end of the summer, and I'm looking to get it repaired this spring finally. I saw some threads where people have rashed their brembo wheels before and some people commented saying the finish on these wheels is really hard to get right. Has anyone had a brembo wheel repaired, and how did it turn out? I do have a friend that has spare brembo wheels and I could buy one off of him. It will just cost more to buy a wheel from him than get mine repaired. What do you guys think I should do?

I have purchased a wheel for my daughters car from a wheel company that refurbished wheels. I could not tell the difference from a new one. If you pick one it should be fine or look for a used one.

I too curbed a wheel in a moment of incompetence at the end of last year. I'm just going to get the SVE Drift wheel and tire combo from LMR when my tires wear out soon. That should fix it.

I hit a ladder on the highway and gouged a rim pretty bad, cost me $125 for repair including paint and clear coat. They did not have to paint the whole wheel. Can't see a thing. Wasn't a Brembo, but a Hypersilver 19" OEM option wheel.

I called a local body shop, he had a mobile service in a van that was highly recommended come in and do the repair.

Just depends how cheap you can find a single for.

I fixed two of mine... I used high quality bondo, then sanded down to perfection just had a paint miss match but was able to adjust it. I bought wheelrepairwizard kit. Pm if you need assistance.

I scratched one of mine up the other day, have some paint on the way that should be close. I'll post results when it's done. It's a small spot, but hopefully it gives you an idea.

I used my local AWRS to repair small rash/scratch on the lip on my Boss wagon wheel and it is perfect.
