Brembo Brake Package IS available on the regular GT coupe?

I just wanted to double-check that the Brembo Brake Package is available on the regular (non-Premium) GT. The documents that are "stickied" at the top of this forum list it as being an option, and the Ford website allows me to build a vehicle that is so equipped.

However, I checked the online inventory of approximately 70 dealerships around Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas, but couldn't find a single GT coupe with that package. Is it just a fluke?

Thanks in advance.

You CAN get the Brembo package with the base GT. Would likely have to order it though. Most dealers aren't going to carry any because they figure folks who are most likely to buy a model with the upgrade are going to want other upgrades as well. Same rationing for only having the track pack on premiums only.

Yeah, dealers don't order base cars with high dollar options because most people are going to want the premium cars if they are going to go for a $1700 MSRP option.

I ordered a base GT with the Brembo Package. I had no choice but to order my car because my dealer is not ordering a single 300A car as dealer stock for the entire '11 model year.

Thanks everybody. I was thinking maybe they had started restricting it to the Premium like the Track Pack was.

It looks like you may have ordered something close to what I'm thinking about ordering: GT/6MT/Grabber Blue/Black/Brembo/3.73/Security.

Around here you will find quite a few 5.0's, but almost all of them are 'verts Haven't seen a single 5.0 GT coupe so far.
