Boss side exhaust on a GT

After hearing a Boss with the discs removed, I've got to get the side exhausts on my GT. Man those things are mean sounding!!! I was just curious how much work it is on a GT coupe and if anything had to be cut to install the Ford racing M-5220-MB kit. I don't have any other mods, so I really don't want to do anything non-reversible that could jeopardize my warranty.

I'll probably get the QTP cutouts too.

You just unbolt the stock H-pipe and bolt in the new H-Pipe and side pipes minus the exhaust discs

Causing you a warranty claim denial based on modded exhaust would be a real stretch. Especially since you're using Ford parts. There isn't much exhaust flow that exits thru the side outlets, mostly sound, so there won't be much difference in back pressure. Go for it and enjoy!

A couple of the bolts are a real **** in the **** ***, especially if you dont have a **** lift.

I had the dealer install it for 1 hour of labor...saved lots of aggrivation for what isnt a particularly challenging complex install...just an annoying one.

It sounds tremendous now.

Man, I couldn't have said it better myself. After starting my car up for the first time sans restrictor plates, though, I knew the busted knuckles were worth it! I don't think I've turned my radio on since installing the Boss H-pipe a few weeks ago.
