Based on the other Mustang seats FRPP has offered in the past, and what standard Recaro seats go for, I think your guess is low. For example, the 2000 Cobra R Recaro seats were around $2400 a pair, and the Sparco racing seats from the FR500C were a little over $1000 each. I hope you're right though, I'll be getting at least a driver's seat if they are around $1000 each, and both if they are closer to your guesstimate.

Considering the price of replacement airbags, I am really curious as to how this is going to work out.

the FR500C seat was a race only SFI/FIA rated thing though.

The R seats were soooooo expensive because they said R on them. Thats why I am so curious to see what these price at.....

I'd imagine the pricing would be "reasonable". Ford is probably going to move a lot of volume on these seats between the BOSS and GT500, so they should get a nice wholesale price from Recaro. Hopefully that translates to the customer.

Dont hold your breath....you arent taking into account that with factory options, parts are substituted,,,,,,In this case you are buying the part outright....Id be surprised if retail is less than $1400-$1600 /seat,if airbags are included...

Either way, it's a beautiful seat.

Well, if the 2012 GT500 Recaro seat option pricing is any indication (see this post), it would seem $800/seat would fit the bill for these.

Are the Recaros confirmed to come with airbags from FRPP? Safety is important, plus, I'd hate to have to explain to the insurance company why I removed my seat airbags in the event of an accident...

What about the oil cooler? Will that be available? Also, regarding the Recaros, since heated seats are not available on either the Boss or the GT500, would I be correct in assuming that these wouldn't be compatible cars equipped with the Comfort package?

They'll be compatible, but you'll lose the seat heater (obviously).

That's what I figured. Oh well. Anyway, the oil cooler would bolt right in, right?

Has anyone heard about the Boss intake being offered. I understand it is a direct bolt on. More flow more power.

Not that it wouldn't be a cool idea, but I would be surprised if this were separately offered, given that it might be optimized to work on an engine with a higher redline and strengthen parts to run at that higher RPM range. Most likely there would be a need for an ECU program update as well.

It will be interesting to see if people try to order those from Ford and retrofit them.
