Nice, the seats will be sweet if they just say ford racing and not boss.

Smart move by Ford to offer those LS wheels in a dark accent finish.

I'm pretty sure they don't say Boss, which is great!

H Pipe? Unlike the H pipe already in the car? Or are you referring to the nice little exhaust offshoots that can be run more "wide open"?

An H or X pipe can be had, the Boss exhaust would have to be fabricated. Still, it can be done.

Maybe I misunderstood.

Oh yeah, this is just awesome!

They have the Ford Racing logo where the Boss 302 was on the other seats.

LOL!

I do WANT the pod, I NEED the seats and i dont want a whipple, it would take me out of the class I am in, in NASA and blowers arent the best for road racing (heat, weight on the nose of the car)

Gotcha. The extra power doesn't balance out the compromises if you're running NASA events.

Those seats will definately help. Any guesses on cost?

I dunno, they say recaro on them and they have side airbags (assuming the FRPP seats keep the airbag) so they are going to be expensive......
I dont want to guess a #, but expensive enough to consider only getting one seat is my guess

This is a great compromise by Ford. GT folks get to have the awesome Boss Recaro seats, and the Boss people don't lose the exclusivity of having their seats say BOSS 302 on them. The gauge pod would also be pretty awesome.

If the Torsen/Recaro package is $1995, and a Torsen goes for $700 or so, then $695 per seat seems reasonable.

Shaun if/when you get a set, I gotta check them out. I figured you'd go for the GT500 variant that have the GB stripes.

I wish it worked that way.

the option price and parts price after the fact most times bear no relation to each other

Just explaining where my number came from. It wasn't something I came up with out of thin air.
