It's a conversion from a company called Retrobuilt:

Aren't these replicas supposed to be Mach 1's, not Boss302s? Still look great, none the less. Hope to do one in the future. Find a supercheap S197 and do this.

Neat idea, nice craftsmanship, but I just can't get past the awkwardness. Sorry, just not for me.

Ahh. There we go. The car/kit was eye catching; hence why I walked up to it. =D

This has me thinking, I would like to see one in person. I have a 162K on my 05' & plan on ordering a 12' come spring. They want 33K for a finished car which is the same price I would be paying for an X plan 5.0. I would only consider this if they would sell me just the kit alone as I can do all the work.

I would think for 33K I could install the kit, paint the car, do a complete coil over suspension kit from Sam (LOL another thread) & build quite a healthy drive train.

I may contact them to see if they sell just the kit & at what cost. And if there are any cars local with the kit.

Any other kits out there you guys like?

My cars are always a little different & I really like the chrome bumpers.

My Bulgarian is a little rusty, but I translate it to.

My experience usually has been that cars look better in person then in pics, but not always. At their site they have a gallery of the blue car. Some of those 3/4 shots look real good. ie

Nice idea, poorly executed, in my opinion. Some of the details are superb, but it's ruined by the proportions. Side on, it's just tooooooooo short

I consider myself fairly picky and ****-retentive but I actually kinda like it for what it is. It does look a bit awkward and the hip scoops could use some work but I like it overall.

69 wb 108"

70 wb 109

05 wb 107.1

I think the wb is in line for a properly proportioned tribute car. Again in person is the only way to judge.

Maybe chutoyy can give a more detail description of what he saw?
