Mine were off, one higher than the other when I got the car (certified pre-owned). Took the Minuteman muffler guy about 5 minutes to make it right.

I don't mean the actually mufflers being off from one another. That would be all of them. Shoot even my factory mufflers are slightly off, but not visually, you'd have to measure.

I meant the tips themselves. Unlike a borla axle back for example where the tips are welded on. The roush tips are false and just bolt on to the little nubs coming out of the muffler. And since they are angled, it would be hard and obnoxious to get them both exactly the same.

I know. It's funny. The akro is obscene, but even borla jacks the price for the m stuff. Same amount of metal, same r&d, same innards. Both s type. But borla doubles the cost just because it's for a BMW.

Akropovic is ridiculously priced but it is prob the highest quality exhaust on the market if not one of the top. I had a BMW K1300S HP motorcycle. Came with akro exhaust. Just the slip on replacement from BMW was $1900. That just for one muffler!! The build quality was the best I have ever seen on a motorcycle. Everything is carbon fiber and titanium and the welds are insane. They made a non BMW version with a sticker instead of a laser etched logo which was around $1400. $500 more for the BMW version. Only difference was the logo. One sticker and the other etched on.

When I was running the Roush AB, I never had a problem getting the tips to line up.

Perhaps "Demon like" is a better definition haha. I've always been a fan of Corsa, they just have a sound all their own. I know exactly when I hear a Corsa exhaust out on the street.

My buddy still rides me for not getting them on my five oh, but I'm just pushing them off for another date down the road. Saving my mod money so I can build my engine in the mean time, so these GT500s will have to suffice for now

Honestly bro, I bet your car sounds like Satans Chariot

Wow. That's a lot of cheese for a muffler. I would run straight pipes before I'd ever spend that much on an exhaust, but I'm a cheap SOB haha. They are made extremely well though, so I suppose you pay the premium if you want the top of the line parts.

That's what I love about borla. I'm still not sold on their overall quality in like their x pipes and welds and stuff. But their warranty is awesome, CS is awesome, and their muffler technology is second to none.

If anything, it's better to have the tips separate. You can put them exactly where you want them and get them perfect. You can even adjust for one of the pipes sticking out just a little, by tucking the tip in a little more. Exhaust shops and DIY alike love the clamp on tips. It really gives you much more fine tuning ability.

Their quality used to be really good, at least from an American car standpoint - they seemed to always get the American stuff just right, but their import stuff was just meh. Same with Magnaflow (even though I hate MF sound) - good stuff for American cars, crap for imports.

I for one, can vouche for the goodness of their CS. Product quality... eh.... you guys all know what happened to me. It is what it is. I loved them for when they were on my car. For now, my Corsas sing. (See comment about Satan above)

Interesting they make Challenger/Charger and Camaro exhaust, but not Mustang. Their Challenger setup is $2,000...and I thought Borla was expensive. Holy crap.

And Akrapovic makes a 2005-2009 GT setup that also goes for $2,000. It sounds nice but it ain't worth 3x the cost of Corsas/Borlas:
