All the videos I hear all sound so different even for the same exhaust. I want the loudest, meanest, growling exhaust.

Can't decide which for my new '14 GT.

 

Roush is super loud IMO. S type sounds awesome. If you want loud and awesome than the atak would fit the bill.

 

I have had all three (Roush, S Type Catback, Atak Catback) on two different cars. Based on your desired state...I would suggest the Atak.

I think the S Type is the best overall but the atak is the most nasty. It will burble and pop on decel as well. I love it but some people don't like that aspect. Personally I think it sounds mean.

The Atak is more raspy than the S type from 3000-4500 rpm and then smooths out after that.

The Roush I had was just about right to my ear. Very nice at idle, tolerable during regular acceleration, but absolutely screaming nasty at WOT.

 

The thing that bugs me with the roush is the tips. Since they're separate, it would drive me nuts getting them straight.

 

If you just want the loudest than the ATAK is the way to go, not sure why you're even considering the S type since it is clearly the medium in Borla's lineup.

 

S type here and I love them, atak dont sound good. I have received tons of compliments from my s types.

 

WHICH MUFFLERI would go with the s-type with resonator delete. The Attak is very loud and will have the law after you. The s-type has a very nice sound too.

 

I think that's what he wants though. And the law can you know what, the atak is legal.

 

Just my $.02. I have the boss 302 side pipes with the roush axle back. The sound is addicting. I don't even want to listen to the radio, just the car. No drone on highway and very reasonable when just cruising around town with some nice pops and crackling when downshifting. Nail the throttle and it absolutely screams. Can't imagine ever changing to anything else.

 

Save yourself some time and get the ATAK catbacks. You won't regret it.

Well I decided to go with the S-Type for now and see how that is Going to put those on first, drive it for awhile then maybe do res delete and who knows from there

 

Borla sounds WAAAAAAY better.

 

Yeah but the price doesn't.

I wanted those but the funds weren't there when I bought my GT500s lol. Corsa always has this "god like" aggression I've always loved.
